First of all, let's discuss what a person's 'image' and first impression is. What is a personal image? When a person acts dumb in public you would think it'd hurt their reputation, right? Well basically, a person's image is reflected by their reputation and every single thing they do affects it. When you act with kindness you are portrayed as a nice person. When you act like a moron you are portrayed as annoying. Whatever your image is, it is how most people look at you and define you. See, people hold hatred and judgement in their hearts because of different reasons depending on the person. They make a personal dictionary in their mind of people who act out. This is their way of defining the people around them. I don't really know why people do this or how it came to be. What I do know is it is part of human nature...the heart. The heart holds greed and hatred along with love and kindness. Now what are the reasons why people do this? Can they stop it or control it? You can't do much about how people look at you but you can change the way you look at people. Just try to look at the good aspects of who people are. Try to look at their good deeds and actions like charity and such. I grew up in a family where people don't judge by anything but character. Try to keep it that way for yours. I know I will for mine.
