I was watching a movie today that made me reflect on my own life for once and it got me thinking about some stuff. It had some scenes about the different aspects of life: love, loss, pain, happiness, friendship, family, trust, faith, and strength. I lost my dad when i was just a kid. It changed my life in a way i can't really explain and it tore me apart. i couldn't believe what had happened at that moment and for a while i was in denial. It hurt so bad that i still cry my eyes out sometimes. But even with the loss, sadness and pain, the world isn't over and neither is my life. I know it tore my family apart and i don't get to see my mom and little brother that much, but i still have some things he gave me. He gave me most of all country music which helps me get by more than anything. He also gave me my love for sports and video games...and yeah, believe it or not star wars, too. He was a HARDCORE star wars fan to the bone! haha! One time when he was a kid my grandma bought him over $200 worth of star wars action figures and toys! He was a great man and influence to my life. I owe him my life by living it the best way I can. I try to be the best I can be because one day I'll see him again.
